My lair…
I’ve decided on how I want most of my lair to be:
Outside
Dark, eerie surrounding. Wrought iron gates and a pathway leading up to a Gothic church/mansionesque building. Camera leads up to the front of the building and to a tiny door.
Door swings open and camera “peers” inside
Inside main hall
The main hall will be almost circus looking black, white, reds filling the room and a staircase in plain view. To each side various “odd” things such as a giant ball, a chair which seems to be sewed out of two very different chairs. The stairs seem to lead to nothing but separate ”platforms”. Behind the camera (it’ll turn round) the door will appear HUGE.
The camera follows up the stairs to the first “platform”.
Platform 1
When the camera is on each platform it will suddenly “drop” and go into a new room. The first room will be a giant desk with a tiny chair, and a camera and video camera around. The room will be old fashioned decoration wise.
Thats all I’ve decided on so far but I figure that’ll take me long enough to create!
I’m going for a very Tim Burton style with referencing from several movies but I want each room to be a reference to a different movie.
