Updating my work…
So, i’ve been looking into ways to improve my work and I’m going to work on a new stop-motion piece as soon as possible whilst trying to use a make-shift tripod until I can get my own. I quite liked my work in my stop-motions but the more I look at them the more I see and want to improve on them, especially the steadiness of the camera.
The second thing I’m looking into improving is the Interactive Narrative. I’ve been trying to just simply add a few more effects (screen wipes etc) and even perhaps a basic fight scene toward the end but due to the nature of the piece I chose to make it becomes increasingly difficult to add anything worth noting when I have to create exactly the same edits to four different frames (one for each potential “hero”). Therefore I’ve decided to delve a little deeper and come up with a NEW Interactive Narrative. I’m not 100% on what yet, but I am looking at completing it over the weekend so I can try and include it in Tuesdays presentation.
After doing a little research on Deviant Art I was quite disapointed to find that practically ALL the Interactive Flash pieces seem to just be dress up games, so coming up with a nice idea is proving to be rather more difficult than I had first thought…
